Anpin Sparsham- Chetpet Marthoma Church Palliative Care Unit was established in April 2023. It has around 85 volunteers from various prayer groups of the church.

The main objective of this organisation is to reach out to anyone suffering from sickness or going through difficult time due to old age or terminal illnesses.

We have a committed core team of a Medical Consultant, Dr Asoke Mathew along with three other members under the valuable guidance and prayers of our Vicars.

The services we provide include house visits, doctor consultations, bereavement support etc.

A Palliative care Induction training was conducted in May 2023 as first part of the program, with plans for similar and refresher programs on regular basis.

We have been visiting members of our church who are admitted in the hospital, bereaved family members and who are recovering after returning from hospital.
We also regularly visit the senior citizens of our church.
