It’s the time of the year, when the sparkle filled the air, marking the celebration of the Harvest Festival, with excitement and enthusiasm.
From sweets to savouries, tables boasted a spread of traditional delicacies. Spectacular and colourful stalls with paintings, cut outs, frills and flowers adorned the stalls and the entire premises.
Entertainment and participation were by various groups -Sevika Sangham, Choir, Elders fellowship, Youth, Sunday School and the Prayer groups.
Tea shop or the Nadan Chai Kada, Popcorn and Sugar candy were the newly introduced stalls.
Attractive prizes for the ‘Tambola‘ game enhanced the sale of tickets .
Skit by youth, dance, magic show, live band performance were some of the quintessential acts that helped in the successful 2023 Harvest Sale.
VBS was conducted from 1 May 2023 to 6 May 2023. Rev Prince Verghese was the VBS leader supported by Vinita Kochamma.
The theme of the VBS was "Root and Fruit" based on Colossians 2.7.
Nearly 80 children participated and were blessed by all the session.
God blessed the VBS with a fantastic group of teachers and enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers.
The Madras Mar Thoma Church Yuvajana Sakhyam attended their Annual Camp at the Shantigiri Ashram Aluva Kerala, between the 23rd to 26th of February, 2023. The camp was a vibrant gathering where young believers came together for spiritual growth, community bonding, and fun.
Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Aluva, this camp offered a unique blend of Christian teaching along with interactive sessions and recreational activities. The participants bonded over their love for Christ amidst the traditional Kerala food which turned each meal into fellowship and celebration.
Overall, this experience proved to be spiritually enriching, creating lasting relationships and memories that are forever etched in our minds.
